Ashfur's Redemption: Chapter 2

In a blink of an eye he sees the large tabby knock Brindleface on her side and turns to face the grey tom. "Do you see it? How weak a Starclan cat is?" He gives a smug look towards the gray tom who's showing horror across his face as he watches Brindleface. 

W-Why would Brambleclaw do such a thing? Brindleface didn't do anything wrong! The lack of response from the gray tom caused the large tabby's smirk to disappear. "Come with me if you want to become stronger. I will train you so you won't be weak as that pathetic cat over there." The large tabby begins to move towards the gray tom. "I..I...-" Before forcing out a reply, a shriek fills the gray tom's ears. "Ashfur that isn't Brambleclaw!"

Brindleface's words had snapped him out of his thoughts. Ashfur begins to give the large tabby a closer look before settling his gaze on the scratch mark on the tom's muzzle, causing his pelt to prickle with hatred and fear. "Tigerstar!" Ashfur quickly feels a heavy weight of pressure on his shoulders as the mention of his name is mentioned. Tigerstar's smirk falters to a cold gaze as he moves over towards Ashfur, towering over him. "Tell me, don't you hate Thunderclan?" The question Tigerstar gave him caused him to lose focus. Why would he ask me something like that? Scanning Ashfur's expression, Tigerstar leaned closer to his ear and whispered, "What if I told you that you can get your revenge on any cat you want in Thunderclan? After all they did to you they need to know how it feels to go through what you did." Ashfur felt his blood run cold. Does he know what happened between me and Squirrelflight? As Ashfur was slowly going deep into his thoughts once again, Tigerstar nudged him. "Come with me, I will make you stronger so you can show those in Thunderclan that they messed with the wrong cat." Unable to respond Ashfur nods slowly. Tigerstar begins to head into the darkness, beckoning his tail and signaling Ashfur to follow him. As Ashfur begins to follow the large tabby from a fox-length away and still deep in his thoughts, he began to notice a dry feeling under his paws. Is this... grass? Ashfur begins to look around only to find Tigerstar and himself still surrounded by darkness. He begins to squint his eyes and receiving a very vague idea of his surroundings. Those look like trees. They don't look like trees in Thunderclan territory. Where else could I... Ashfur's eyes widened as if every strand of fur was on alert. He's bringing me to the dark forest!

Warrior’s Judgement is a fanmade anthology AU that bends and “twists” the perspective of certain cats. Why is this an anthology? Because all of the stores I’ve done on these 5 characters follows certain rules. It was easier to bundle it up into one AU instead of making 5 individual ones.

A Warrior’s Judgement was given the name after the outline of Ashfur’s story: Ashfur’s Redemption. When a cat dies, or is dying, they will undergo a trial to see where they end up in the afterlife: Starclan or the Dark Forest. Except, only cats who believe in Starclan or even the warrior code can go through a trial. Those who don’t believe in it at all will go through a punishment or end up at Null, which is no where.
