Ashfur's Redemption: Chapter 3

Ashfur's pelt bristled, alert and fearful. Tigerstar looks back over his shoulder to see Ashfur haulting. "Is something wrong?" Ashfur was unable to respond as the feeling of fear consumed his thoughts and had him unable to even lift his paw. I shouldn't be here... should I? Thoughts racing in Ashfur's head distracted him from the fact that Tigerstar was in front of him. "There's no need to be afraid. You will train with us and become stronger. When the time comes, we will show Thunderclan what it's like to have messed with us." Ashfur forced his fur to fall flat and gave Tigerstar a nod. Tigerstar spun and began to continue going into the dark forest. Ashfur trailed behind a few fox-lenghts away with his head held low. Maybe I do belong here. I made so many cats suffer, especially Hollyleaf. He sighed as he begun to give up all hope. "Ashfur, you can fix this!" a quiet hiss from behind reached Ashfur's ears. "Brindleface?" He turned around, straining his senses to locate her but could only see nothing but darkness and trees.

"There's still a chance you can fix everything. You don't have to go to the dark forest." Hope began to sprout in Ashfur's chest as he turned towards the emptiness behind him. "How can I? I'm already dead and there's no way I can go to Starclan after everything I did." He hissed, self-loathing consuming him as well as trying to keep quiet so Tigerstar wouldn't notice him missing. Brindleface slowly crept out of a bush once Tigerstar was out of sight. She signaled Ashfur with her tail to follow her. Where to now? With a grunt, he followed her out of the dark forest and back into the pitch black darkness.

Warrior’s Judgement is a fanmade anthology AU that bends and “twists” the perspective of certain cats. Why is this an anthology? Because all of the stores I’ve done on these 5 characters follows certain rules. It was easier to bundle it up into one AU instead of making 5 individual ones.A Warrior’s Judgement was given the name after the outline of Ashfur’s story: Ashfur’s Redemption. When a cat dies, or is dying, they will undergo a trial to see where they end up in the afterlife: Starclan or the Dark Forest. Except, only cats who believe in Starclan or even the warrior code can go through a trial. Those who don’t believe in it at all will go through a punishment or end up at Null, which is no where.
